"King of Kubala" Proclaims Scotland as Biblical "Promised Land" in Online Ceremony, Sparks Debate

A recent video circulating online features a man claiming to be the "King of Kubala," declaring Scotland as the "promised land" and the ancestral home of biblical figures King David and King Solomon. The video, uploaded on August 16, 2025, from Great Britain, shows three individuals in a grassy field performing what appears to be a ceremonial act. The central figure, adorned with traditional-style clothing and holding a staff, states, "Nations must come and bow before the King of Kubala." He further identifies himself as "the Messiah" and "the Shushuma, the Holy Seed of David." With a woman holding a peacock feather standing beside him and another bowing at his feet, he proclaims, "You are the chosen one. You are the one to usher us to the promised land, here in the holy land of Scotland, the land of the ancestors, the land of King David, the land of King Solomon." The declaration culminates with the statement, "The time has come for Black Power in Kubala." The video has garnered significant attention, accumulating over 145,500 views and sparking debate in its comments section. While some viewers express support, others question the claims and the nature of the performance. One commenter remarked, "Girl stand up. Women didn’t fight for rights to bow down to a man in 2025! And no I don’t care what they’re doing in that field. People do worse stuff, but bowing down on your knees to a man in 2025 is crazy!" Another comment highlighted the historical context, stating, "The Scottish Didn't Bow Down for the English They'll Never Bow to THIS Dude," indicating a clash with established Scottish identity. The video's author, "MOORS NORTHERN TRIBE," describes themselves as "The Two Witnesses; Messiah and the Prophetess." The claims presented in the video are not recognized by mainstream historical or religious scholarship and appear to be part of a specific, perhaps nascent, belief system.
