Chan Chun Sing at Shangri-La Dialogue: Collaboration Key to Peace and Prosperity

Singapore's Defence Minister Chan Chun Sing addressed the Shangri-La Dialogue, emphasizing the importance of collaboration for peace and prosperity. The event, held in Singapore, brought together over 40 ministerial-level representatives and defence chiefs from around 47 countries. Mr. Sing highlighted the dialogue's growth and Singapore's active role in upholding a rules-based order. He stated, "A more prosperous world is a less dangerous world." The dialogue serves as a platform for open and frank discussions on security issues, both military and economic, demonstrating a commitment to regional stability and cooperation.
