Kazakh Military Base Hosts Heartwarming Children's Day Event

On June 2nd, 2025, military unit 6637 in Kazakhstan opened its doors to the children of its servicemen in honor of International Children's Day. The event was designed to give children a glimpse into their parents' daily lives and foster a sense of pride and understanding. Children were shown military vehicles, participated in a chess tournament, and received treats. One child, Sabit Kuanysh, said, "I came with my father. It was great!" Dosan Kurkenov, the unit commander, emphasized the importance of the event, stating, "Our children need to know and see where their parents serve."
