
Major Drug Bust in Belarus: Six Couriers Arrested, Kilograms of Narcotics Seized
MINSK, BELARUS – In a major crackdown on drug trafficking, Belarusian law enforcement officials announced the arrest of six individuals involved in the distribution of narcotics. The operation, conducted by the Narcotics Control Department, resulted in the seizure of a significant quantity of drugs, including 7.5 kilograms of psychotropic substances, 5.5 kilograms of mephedrone, 1 kilogram of marijuana, and 2,400 LSD stamps. "This operation is a testament to our commitment to combating the illegal drug trade," stated a spokesperson for the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Three of the suspects have prior convictions for drug-related offenses.
