Russo-Belarusian Student Media Forum to Counter Western Propaganda

The 3rd Russo-Belarusian Forum of Student Media, titled "Media Industry," will be held at Pskov State University from May 13th to 17th, 2025. This forum aims to create a unified information space within the Union State and cultivate young leaders in information policy. Participants will focus on projects promoting patriotism and countering what organizers describe as Western information provocations. The initiative follows a proposal last year by the Pskov Oblast administration to establish a media hub at the university to promote the Union State's values among young people. One student participant, when asked about the forum's significance, stated, "This is a crucial opportunity to learn and collaborate with peers to strengthen our media landscape and promote a unified narrative." The forum's success will be measured by its ability to foster collaboration and produce impactful media projects.
