Florida Man Charged After Allegedly Aiming Sprinklers at Disabled Students
OCALA, Fla. – A Florida man has been arrested and charged after allegedly repeatedly aiming activated sprinklers at students with disabilities as they waited for their school bus. The incident, which occurred in Ocala, involved a yellow school bus arriving at a stop, followed by the activation of sprinklers that sprayed water towards the area where students were waiting. According to a detective’s voice-over in the footage, the sprinklers were activated precisely as the bus stopped and disengaged once the bus departed. Authorities state that the only sprinklers activated were those located between the victim’s house and the suspect’s residence. Officials reported that the man admitted to the acts, stating he was angry about the location of the bus stop. He faces four counts of stalking and two counts of battery of a disabled person. Images from the scene show the front and passenger areas of the school bus appearing wet from the water.
