OREM, UT – A shooting incident at Utah Valley University on September 10 left conservative activist Charlie Kirk injured, according to a witness who spoke to NBC News. Justin Hickens, who was approximately 20 yards from Kirk, described the moment the activist was shot. “I saw a bunch of blood come out of Charlie, I saw his body kind of kick back and go limp,” Hickens stated, recounting the immediate aftermath of a loud shot. The event, an outdoor gathering attended by thousands, reportedly lacked metal detectors, raising concerns about security. Hickens detailed a “religious-related exchange” that occurred roughly 60 to 90 seconds before the shooting.
