Man Flees Police, Runs Through NJ Traffic in Dramatic Bodycam Video
On Sunday, June 1st, around 2 p.m., a man fled from a Washington Township Police Officer in New Jersey. The incident, captured on police bodycam footage, shows the suspect running through busy traffic on State Highway 42. "He's running across 42 right now," the officer's voice is heard saying on the video. The suspect, later identified as George Burns of Runnemede, NJ, was eventually apprehended. Burns was wanted on a previous warrant out of Camden County. He was charged with obstructing the administration of law and possession of burglary tools.
