Croatian Workers Share Why They Quit Their Jobs
In a small Croatian town, Net.hr conducted brief interviews on June 4th, 2025, exploring the reasons behind people's decisions to quit their jobs. One woman shared, "I just gave my notice. I worked for a boss who was unpleasant, aggressive, and rude — even younger than me! That's why I quit; I don't want to lower myself to his level." Another interviewee highlighted the burden of administrative tasks, stating, "It's come up several times for me. The job often boils down to administration and formalities that have little to do with the core work, and it just drains you." A third person offered a contrasting perspective, mentioning they'd never considered quitting their job. This diverse range of opinions provides insight into the complex factors influencing job satisfaction and employee retention.
