Pasay City Traffic Update: Light Congestion Despite Road Closures Pasay City, Philippines –  Despite planned road closures on Taft Avenue and Buendia Avenue for DPWH road and drainage repairs, traffic remained light this Thursday morning, May 15, 2025. News5’s traffic reporter, Mondilopez, provided an on-the-scene update, noting that while some lanes were closed, the overall impact on commuters was minimal. "Magsasara ang ilang parte ng Southbound lane ng Taft at Buendia Avenue," reported Mondilopez, "pero sa ngayon, hindi pa muna nasarado. Baka siguro mamaya ng hapon pa o baka bukas."  Mondilopez’s report included brief interviews with commuters who confirmed the light traffic conditions. One commuter, who preferred to remain anonymous, stated, "Mas madali ang commute ngayon kaysa inaasahan ko."  The DPWH repairs are expected to continue, but this morning's report suggests that the city's traffic management handled the disruption effectively.
