
PVL Press Corps Honors Top Volleyball Stars at Awards Night
The Philippine Volleyball League (PVL) recently concluded its season with an awards night hosted by the PVL Press Corps. The event celebrated the outstanding achievements of players throughout the season. Among the notable winners were Teia Gagate, who received the Rookie of the Year award, and Brooke Van de Kerkhof, who was named the Most Valuable Player. Creamline Cool Smashers took home the Team of the Year award. Alyssa Valdez, captain of the Creamline Cool Smashers, expressed her team's gratitude, stating, "We're coming from a great loss from the last conference, so we're really working hard to prepare for the next conferences." The awards night also recognized the online streaming app Pilipinas Live with a special citation. The event marked a significant milestone for the PVL and the volleyball community in the Philippines, highlighting the dedication and talent of the players.
