Miss Grand International 2024 Rachel Gupta's crown was revoked due to alleged harassment and mistreatment, according to a statement released by the organization. Gupta, in an emotional video, described the mental torture and unfair treatment she endured. The Miss Grand International organization's statement cited Gupta's failure to fulfill assigned duties, unauthorized external engagements, and refusal to attend a scheduled trip to Guatemala. CJ Opiaza, the first runner-up, will now assume the title. "It's taking a lot of courage to first of all give up the ground that I worked so hard for," Gupta said in her statement. The organization requested that Gupta return the crown within 30 days of the announcement.
