This victory follows another significant win for the Philippines: Carlos Yulo, the country's gymnastics golden boy, won a gold medal at the 2025 Artistic Gymnastics Asian Championships in South Korea. Yulo's performance in the floor exercise event, scoring 14.600, secured his fourth consecutive gold medal in this event.
