
Belarus Hosts Children's Games for Cancer Survivors
The All-Belarusian Children's Games of Winners: A Celebration of Courage and Resilience in Raubichi Raubichi, Belarus – In a heartwarming display of resilience and sportsmanship, the All-Belarusian Children's Games of Winners kicked off on May 16th, 2025. This annual event brings together approximately 50 children from across Belarus who have overcome cancer and are in sustained remission. Along with their parents, they participate in a variety of sporting competitions, fostering a sense of community and shared accomplishment. The games included running, swimming, table tennis, football, and chess. One young participant, commented, "It's amazing to be here, to compete with my friends, and to show everyone that we are strong." Another parent added, "This event is more than just sports; it's a symbol of hope and a testament to the power of perseverance." The seventh annual games demonstrated the enduring spirit of these children and their families, highlighting the importance of support and community in overcoming adversity.
