66 Detained in Zimbabwe: Seven South Africans Among Those Accused of Illegal Entry

Harare, Zimbabwe – June 4, 2025. Sixty-six individuals, including seven South African citizens, are currently being held in Zimbabwean detention following allegations of illegal entry into the country. The Zimbabwe Human Rights Commission (ZHRC) is actively engaged in the matter. Jessie Majome, representing the ZHRC, stated, "This is a recurring issue, and we are working with immigration authorities to ensure a swift resolution."
