Security Footage Reveals Shocking Details in Killing of Colombian Teacher

A retired teacher, Lissi Camargo, was tragically killed in a shooting incident in Puerto Colombia, Atlántico, Colombia. Security camera footage obtained by Noticias Caracol shows the ex-senator Gerardo Vecino’s bodyguards firing on Camargo’s vehicle. The video shows a dark SUV, presumably carrying Vecino and his security detail, passing Camargo’s vehicle before the shooting. Following the incident, the bodyguards and Vecino entered a residence, while the driver of Camargo’s vehicle left the scene. Police Commander General Edwin Urrego stated that the bodyguards used both revolvers and a pistol, which is believed to have belonged to Vecino. Camargo’s son, Milton Angulo, described the immediate aftermath: “The first thing they did was run to my mom’s house and wait for the ambulance. My mom arrived at the clinic still alive.” Authorities are investigating the incident, and Camargo’s family has decided to donate her organs, a testament to her life of service and solidarity. They are seeking justice for her untimely death.
