Colombia Holds Nationwide "March of Silence" Demanding Justice

On June 15th, 2025, Colombia and Miami witnessed a moving "March of Silence" in tribute to Miguel Uribe Turbay. Organized across more than 30 cities, the peaceful demonstrations demanded justice and truth. In Bogotá, the march started at Parque Nacional, heading towards Plaza de Bolívar. "Tomorrow, June 15th, this march of silence will begin at 9 a.m. from this point, Parque Nacional," stated a reporter from Noticias Caracol. Similar demonstrations occurred in Cali, Medellín, and Barranquilla, with each city having a designated starting point. The march in Miami took place at Coral Gables and Coral Way. Authorities implemented security measures to ensure the safety of participants. The event displayed a powerful message of unity and peace in the face of recent violence.
