Teenager Arrested for Sharing Ukrainian Military Locations with Russia
A 17-year-old from Lozova, Ukraine, has been arrested for allegedly providing the locations of Ukrainian military units to Russian forces. The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) reported that the teenager was recruited through the Telegram messaging app, where he was promised a small sum of money in exchange for filming the movements of military convoys. He disguised his actions under the pretense of searching for post offices. During a search of his residence, the SBU found evidence confirming his collaboration with the enemy. The teenager has been charged and faces a potential prison sentence of up to 12 years. "This case highlights the ongoing threat of internal collaboration and the importance of vigilance during wartime," said an SBU spokesperson, who declined to be named. The incident underscores the dangers of online recruitment and the need for increased digital literacy among young people.
