
Belarus and Russia Celebrate Slavic Culture with International Arts Competition and Youth Project
MINSK, BELARUS – May 24th marks the Day of Slavic Writing and Culture, a significant date celebrated in Belarus and Russia. This year, the event is further highlighted by the upcoming 8th International Arts Competition "Friends 2025," set to take place in Minsk. The competition, according to organizers, aims to "promote the preservation of our traditions and the development of young talents." In addition, a unique youth project, "Train of Memory," will run from June 21st to July 5th, uniting Belarus and Russia in a shared celebration of cultural heritage. One participant commented, "It's important to remember our shared history and culture." This initiative underscores the growing cultural cooperation between the two nations, fostering a sense of shared identity and promoting cultural exchange.
