Chefs Bring Joy and Healthy Meals to Hospitalized Children in Pitești

Pitești, Romania – Renowned chefs Orlando Zaharia and Laura Eremia, joined by Chef Lazar Florian, brought smiles and healthy meals to young patients at the Pediatric Hospital in Pitești this week. As part of the "Taste and Healthy" project, supported by Lidl, the culinary team prepared and served 160 nutritious burgers and potato dishes to hospitalized children and their parents. The initiative aims to underscore the critical role of proper nutrition in children's recovery. "A child's smile is priceless," stated Chef Orlando Zaharia, emphasizing the emotional impact of their visit. Chef Laura Eremia added, "It resonates deeply with the story of these children, who are also helped to get well through food." Hospital staff expressed gratitude for the chefs' involvement. "Alongside them, we want to promote a program related to pediatric nutrition," a hospital representative noted, highlighting that "besides medicinal treatment, nutrition throughout the hospitalization period is very important." The event fostered a positive atmosphere, with children eagerly receiving their meals and interacting with the chefs. This marks the third such event at the hospital, demonstrating a continuous commitment to the well-being of young patients.
