Mobile Hospital Arrives in Pucallpa to Boost Medical Care with 4,500 Consultations

Pucallpa, Peru – Hospital Perú, the mobile hospital initiative by EsSalud, has commenced operations in Pucallpa, aiming to provide 4,500 specialized medical consultations. This strategic deployment seeks to alleviate the substantial waiting lists for medical services in the Ucayali region. Dr. Segundo Acho, Executive President of EsSalud, stated that the primary objective of this operation is to "decrease the gap between the supply and demand for specialized medical attention." He further noted that the initiative includes a range of procedures, services, and diagnostic support to benefit insured residents of Pucallpa. The arrival of the itinerant hospital is expected to significantly improve access to healthcare for the local population, offering much-needed specialized care and reducing the burden on existing medical facilities.
