In a recent video, Díaz recounted her five-and-a-half-year relationship, which occurred approximately two decades ago, with a former participant of "La Casa de los Famosos." The actress revealed that the relationship was marred by her partner's infidelity, which she discovered through various means, including messages on his phone. She described incidents of verbal abuse, physical aggression, and threats, including a public altercation at a shopping mall where her partner allegedly attempted to hit her. The situation escalated to a point where he reportedly threatened to burn down their shared home with her and their young son inside. "One thing is to play the victim, and another is to be a victim, and I was a victim of violence," Díaz stated, emphasizing the gravity of her experience. She detailed the emotional and logistical challenges of leaving the abusive relationship, including seeking legal counsel and professional psychological help. Díaz also mentioned property disputes, as they had invested in homes in Cuernavaca and the United States.
