Belarus Family Competition: Laughter, Teamwork, and Community Spirit in Ilyinsky
Ilyinsky Village Hosts Thrilling Family Competition: The "Vlastelin Sela" Project Brings Families Together in Belarus ILYINSKY, BELARUS – The picturesque village of Ilyinsky recently hosted a vibrant family competition as part of the ongoing republican family project, "Vlastelin Sela." The event, held on June 7th, 2025, saw families from across the region participate in a series of fun and engaging challenges designed to test teamwork and skill. One of the most exciting events was the wheelbarrow race, where one partner had to transport their spouse in a wheelbarrow across a designated course. "It was harder than it looks!" laughed one participant, whose team successfully navigated the course. Another challenge involved blindfoldedly collecting scattered vegetables and placing them into containers. This task tested not only the participant's sense of touch and spatial awareness but also their communication skills, as they relied on their partner's guidance. The competition also included traditional tasks such as swaddling a baby doll and hammering nails. The judges assessed each family's performance based on speed, accuracy, and teamwork. The event was a resounding success, bringing laughter, friendly competition, and a strong sense of community spirit to Ilyinsky village. The "Vlastelin Sela" project continues to promote family values and strengthen ties within Belarusian communities.
