Yvette set up two groups of cuttings: one with Pothos, one without. After six weeks, the ZZ plant with Pothos showed initial root development, while the control group showed none. By week ten, both had rooted, but the ZZ plant without Pothos had longer, healthier roots. "Adding Pothos accelerates initial rooting," Yvette explains, "but doesn't guarantee a bigger plant."
