Monterrey's Huajuco Vial Circuit: A New Road to Better Connectivity and Reduced Congestion Monterrey, Mexico – The municipality of Monterrey recently launched the construction of the Huajuco Vial Circuit, a 5.5-kilometer project aimed at improving traffic flow and reducing commute times in the city's south. The project addresses the significant traffic congestion on the National Highway, a major thoroughfare. "Due to the heavy vehicular chaos and with the objective of improving mobility in the south of the city," explains Azael Valdés, the presenter in the video, "the municipality announced the start of construction of the Huajuco Vial Circuit." The circuit will feature a four-lane elevated bridge connecting Avenida La Rioja with Las Estancias, extending to Acueducto. Additionally, a six-lane avenue will be built, reaching Avenida Palmares. A depressed bridge and a two-lane street will also be constructed to connect with the Old Camino to Villa de Santiago. The project is also environmentally conscious, incorporating the planting of over 1500 trees. The project is expected to benefit more than 13,000 families and thousands of motorists. The goal is to reduce travel times, improve traffic flow, lower driver stress levels, and decrease environmental pollution.
