At the age of three, a cat scratch nearly ended her dream, causing a serious injury to her finger. "It almost broke my dream," she recalls. But her love for animals pushed her forward. Initially, Vázquez studied chemical biology at the University of Sonora. However, she realized her true passion lay in veterinary medicine.
