Caracas, Venezuela – The Administrative Service for Identification, Migration and Immigration (SAIME) has announced a special data verification drive aimed at Venezuelan citizens with identity card numbers ranging from 22 million to 32 million. The initiative, which commenced on Monday, June 30th, is designed to ensure the accuracy of citizen data, facilitating future identification procedures efficiently and without complications. The verification sessions will be conducted from Monday to Friday, between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM. Venezuelan citizens are required to present a simple copy of their birth certificate. For naturalized citizens, the requirements include a naturalization certificate and a simple copy of the official gazette. SAIME confirmed that this special drive will be available across all 143 of its offices located throughout the national territory, underscoring the institution's commitment to guaranteeing the right to identification for all citizens.
