Prosecutor Luis Alba confirmed the femicide in an interview with Red Uno, stating, "Effectively, it is a femicide. The victim died as a consequence of cranioencephalic trauma; she was polycontused due to the physical aggression she suffered." He also revealed that the motive is believed to be passion-driven and that a third person, possibly involved in an extramarital relationship with the victim, is also under investigation.
