Bolivian Elections: Jaime Dunn's Candidacy Awaits TSE Decision Amid Document Review
La Paz, Bolivia – The political future of Jaime Dunn and his presidential candidacy remains uncertain as the Supreme Electoral Tribunal (TSE) prepares to make a definitive decision. Fernando Arteaga, Secretary of Chamber of the TSE, confirmed that the plenary session will evaluate documentation submitted by Jaime Dunn, including information from the Comptroller's Office and the El Alto Mayor's Office regarding payments made. "All this documentation will enter the plenary session tomorrow so that the situation can be definitively defined," Arteaga stated. He further explained that if the necessary documents are not finalized, Dunn's position on the ballot will appear blank. Arteaga also announced that the process for printing election ballots is scheduled to commence this week. "From today, the parties will validate the ballots that have already begun or have already entered the printing process," he added. The upcoming decision by the TSE is crucial for the electoral landscape, as it will determine whether Jaime Dunn proceeds as a candidate in the upcoming elections.
