Death in Police Custody Sparks Investigation in Nairobi

A man died in police custody in Nairobi, Kenya, on June 6th, 2025. Albert Omollo Ojwang was arrested for false publication. A police press conference revealed he was found unconscious during a routine cell inspection and later pronounced dead at a hospital. The Independent Policing Oversight Authority is investigating.
