Az SZJA-mentesség október 1-től a háromgyerekes édesanyákat is megilleti. Várhatóan ennyi marad a családoknál 2026-ban.
Budapest, Hungary – Starting October 1st, mothers in Hungary raising three or more children will be exempt from personal income tax (SZJA), a new government decree has announced. This measure aims to provide significant financial relief to families, potentially adding up to 1.5 million forints annually to household incomes. According to the decree, eligible mothers are those who raise three children for whom they receive or have received family allowance for at least 12 years. The definition of 'children' includes not only biological offspring but also adopted children, broadening the scope of beneficiaries. However, the tax exemption is not automatically applied. Working mothers who qualify must submit a declaration to their employer. This declaration form is available for download on the National Tax and Customs Administration (NAV) website. For those who submit their declaration by early November, the additional benefit is expected to be reflected in their November salary payment. This initiative is projected to provide tens of thousands of forints in extra monthly income for eligible families, marking a substantial government effort to support child-rearing and improve the financial well-being of larger families in Hungary.
