„A családom és a barátaim adnak erőt” - a négy fal az SMA-s Róbert börtöne
Nem sok esélyt kapott a túlélésre, ő mégis felnőtt. Nehéz sors jutott az SMA beteg Róbertnek, de ő nem adja fel. Minden nap segítségre van szüksége.
Budapest, Hungary – Róbert Bogdán, a 31-year-old Hungarian man living with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA), has issued a public appeal for assistance to acquire crucial mobility equipment. Bogdán, who is fully mobility-impaired due to his condition, spends the majority of his days either in bed or seated, facing significant challenges with everyday tasks. In a recent video, Bogdán explained his current situation: "I am 31 years old, I live with SMA, and because of this, I am completely mobility-impaired. I spend most of my days in bed or sitting, and often even simple things present huge challenges." He highlighted two specific items that would fundamentally change his daily life: an electric patient bed, which would offer "safer and more comfortable rest," and a patient lift, which would "ease my movement and relieve those who help me."The estimated combined cost for these vital pieces of equipment is approximately 500,000 Hungarian Forints (HUF), an amount Bogdán states is currently beyond his reach. He emphasized that these are not luxuries but necessities for a more dignified and secure life. "It's not about luxury, but about being able to live in a more humane, safer way," he stated. Bogdán concluded his appeal by requesting viewers to consider donating, even a small amount, or simply sharing his video to help spread awareness and gather support.
