Sosa, speaking from what appeared to be his home, clarified the events that led to fan backlash, asserting he was unaware of the full context of the show's dynamic. "I woke up and found out I was being 'funado' (canceled) for having gone to 'La Casa de los Famosos' (House of Celebrities)," Sosa stated, referring to the wave of negative comments he received. He acknowledged that some of the criticism had merit, particularly concerning the nature of the messages he conveyed. Sosa explained that he was contacted by Citlali, the girlfriend of another participant, Guana, who informed him that Guana wanted him to send messages of support to Abelito. "I said, 'Of course, with pleasure,'" Sosa recounted, noting his prior positive relationship with Abelito. He then received specific messages from the production to relay to Abelito, which he described as "corny" but well-intentioned, like "Tell Guana to play in the house with the same love he does theater." Upon connecting to the show, Sosa was told he hadn't seen the house yet, which was presented as a positive. He was then informed about a dynamic where a participant who found a 'pelotita' (small ball) would deliver the messages. Abelito found the ball. Sosa described his emotional reaction upon seeing Abelito, whom he deeply cares for, only to realize the dynamic was designed for Abelito to perceive him as a 'father figure.' "He didn't say, 'You're Daniel Sosa,' he said, 'You're my boss,'" Sosa explained, highlighting the unexpected turn. Sosa expressed strong disapproval of the show's dynamic, arguing that after weeks of isolation, a participant's reward for winning a challenge should be a genuine connection with a loved one, such as their actual father or mother. "What kind of prize is that?" he questioned, emphasizing the emotional toll such a setup could take on contestants.
