The individual, who identifies as a flight attendant, shared his story after a week-long recovery from the injury.The incident began during a layover in Los Angeles, where the flight attendant, who wishes to remain anonymous for privacy reasons, suffered a fall while running, believing he had merely sprained his ankle. Despite severe pain and swelling, his visit to a local clinic proved fruitless. “They told me my insurance wouldn’t cover the visit, and a simple consultation cost $320,” he explained. “Another patient with an open fracture was also turned away due to insurance issues.”After paying a staggering $1,000 for an X-ray and a brief consultation, he was informed by the American doctor that he had no fracture and was cleared to fly.
