Young Man Diagnosed with Skin Cancer After Regular Sunbed Use
A 26-year-old man from the United Kingdom, known online as SamTee, has recently shared his personal experience with a skin cancer diagnosis, attributing it to his use of sunbeds. In a video uploaded on June 4, 2025, SamTee, who regularly posts about his weight loss journey, revealed that he has been informed he has a type of skin cancer. Sporting a bandage on his forehead, the young man stated that doctors initially dismissed his concerns due to his age, believing a 26-year-old would be unlikely to develop skin cancer. However, further examination confirmed the diagnosis. SamTee recounted his sunbed habits, explaining that he used them once a week for approximately nine to ten months, for about nine minutes per session. He stressed that his usage was not excessive. "Nothing crazy," he noted. He expressed regret, stating, "It's not worth it, really, is it?" He concluded his message by urging viewers to "just be careful" regarding sunbed use, highlighting the potential risks even with moderate exposure.
