‘We think you’re unsafe’: Woman takes Uber from airport after trip to Los Angel…
TikTok user Saskia Archer (@saskiacarolina) has gone viral after sharing a terrifying experience she had using an Uber.
A young woman, Saskia Archer, recently shared a harrowing experience during an early morning rideshare, prompting concerns about passenger safety. According to Archer, at approximately 4:00 AM yesterday, after a delayed flight, she was in an Uber/Lyft when she realized her vehicle was significantly off course. "I checked on my maps, I'm 40 minutes away from where I should be. I should have been about 5 minutes away," she stated in her video. During the unexpected detour, Archer received alarming text messages from Uber. The first message warned, "Hey, you're not headed towards your destination. Please click this link, we think you're unsafe." A subsequent text reiterated the warning: "You're still not headed towards your destination, something might be wrong, call 911 or click this link." Archer, who described herself as tired and "out of it" from her travels, speculated that being on a live stream at the time might have inadvertently contributed to her safety. The incident has sparked discussion among her followers about rideshare security and personal vigilance.
