Third Arrest Made in Fernanda Bonin Murder Case

SÃO PAULO, Brazil – A woman seen with João Paulo Bourquin abandoning the car of murdered teacher Fernanda Bonin has been arrested. Jane Maria da Silva turned herself in to the Department of Homicides and Protection of Persons (DHPP) on Monday, May 12th. "Jane Maria da Silva arrived and turned herself in, accompanied by her lawyer," a police spokesperson stated. The police are investigating her role in the crime. Another suspect, Ivo Resende dos Santos, remains at large. The investigation continues.
