Thief's Foolish Attempt Ends in Roof Rescue
In the small town of Nova Timboteua, located in the northeastern region of Pará, Brazil, an unusual incident unfolded recently. A thief attempting to burglarize a local business found himself in a precarious situation – stuck fast on the roof. According to local police, the individual, whose identity has not yet been publicly released, attempted to gain entry through the roof. However, his plans went awry, and he became wedged between the roof tiles and the supporting structure. The police were called to the scene. 'We received a call about a man stuck on a roof,' said Officer Silva, a local police officer. 'When we arrived, we found him quite literally stuck. He couldn't move.' The police had to resort to using a hand saw to carefully cut away a section of the roof to free the trapped thief. The man was then taken into custody and is currently being investigated for this and other possible crimes in the area. The incident serves as a cautionary tale of the unexpected consequences of criminal activity.
