Motorcyclist Shot Dead Resisting Robbery in São Paulo

A tragic incident unfolded at a gas station in São Paulo, Brazil, on June 3, 2025. Security camera footage captured the moment when two robbers on a motorcycle attempted to rob a 45-year-old recycler, Roberto Pereira dos Santos. When Roberto resisted, one of the robbers shot him in the chest. A witness, whose name was not revealed, recounted, "I only heard the commotion. When I went outside, the SAMU (emergency medical service) was already inside the gas station where the man was lying injured." Following the shooting, the robbers fled the scene. The police are investigating the incident and have obtained statements from Roberto's wife. She stated that the robbers had already fired shots at the couple earlier on the Ayrton Senna Highway.
