Miraculous Escape! Car Launches 12 Meters, Lands on House Roof

A 55-year-old woman in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, had a miraculous escape after losing control of her car and sending it flying onto the roof of a house. According to the Corpo de Bombeiros (Fire Department), the woman mistakenly hit the accelerator instead of the brake, launching her vehicle approximately 12 meters before it landed precariously on a supporting column of the house's roof. "It was a very unusual accident," said a spokesperson for the Fire Department. "The car could have caused much more damage, but luckily, the way it landed prevented any serious injuries." Both the driver and two residents of the house sustained only minor injuries.
