Belarus Supports Young Vets with Housing and Competitive Salaries
The Belarusian government is actively working to support young specialists, particularly in the veterinary field. A recent initiative provides housing and competitive salaries to attract and retain talent in rural areas. This is exemplified by Elizaveta Kebey, a veterinary feldsher at the Shomylitsa farm in Minsk Oblast, who has been working there for six months and is satisfied with her housing and salary. Another young veterinarian, Elizaveta Ezerskaya, also working at the farm, shares her positive experience. "In this month, we achieved almost 100% success across all indicators," she stated, highlighting the high calf survival rate under her care. This initiative demonstrates a proactive approach to addressing workforce challenges in the agricultural sector and ensuring the future of animal healthcare in Belarus.
