Touristes non bienvenus ? Cette plage d’Île-de-France crée la polémique en plei…
Cet été, une plage francilienne a radicalement changé d’ambiance : plus calme, moins bondée… mais aussi plus controversée.
Meaux Plage has officially opened its doors for the summer season, offering a wide array of activities designed for all ages, as showcased in a recent video by the Service Jeunesse de Meaux. The popular recreational spot, situated by the river, features beach volleyball, beach soccer, trampolines, an impressive inflatable water slide, and mini-golf, providing a vibrant atmosphere for families and individuals alike. The video highlights numerous visitors enjoying the facilities under sunny skies, with children splashing in the water and engaging in various games. Staff members are visible, ensuring safety and assisting with the attractions. Food stalls, such as "La Gourmandise," are also seen catering to the hungry crowds. A key update for this summer concerns the access policy. While the beach has previously offered free entry, starting July 19, 2025, access will be exclusively free for residents of Meaux and the surrounding communities within the Communauté d'Agglomération du Pays de Meaux. External visitors will now be required to pay an entrance fee: 6€ for adults, 4€ for children aged 3-10, and free for those under 3. This change aims to manage visitor flow and prioritize local residents, a point that has sparked some discussion among the public. One commenter noted, "Pffff j’habite pas à Meaux je suis parti avec mes enfants la semaine dernière c’était gratuit je comprend pas," indicating some confusion or dissatisfaction with the new policy. Despite this, many residents expressed appreciation, with one remarking, "Meaux où j’ai grandi c’est trop bien ce que vous faites 🤩🤩🤩." The beach is set to remain open until August 24, from 11 AM to 8 PM, promising a season filled with sun, good cheer, and engaging activities for everyone.
