Trump's Middle East Trip: Dance Moves, Bilateral Talks, and a Gaza Plea
Donald Trump concluded his Middle East trip with visits to Qatar and the UAE. In Qatar, he visited US troops at Al Udeid Air Base, delivering a speech and engaging with the soldiers. "As your Commander in Chief, I'm here to say that America's military will soon be bigger, better, stronger, and more powerful than ever before," Trump stated. His visit to the UAE included a grand welcome ceremony featuring a traditional Emirati dance. He held bilateral discussions with UAE leaders and toured the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. Speaking to the press, Trump asserted there would be no Ukraine peace deal until he and Vladimir Putin met. He also expressed concern about the situation in Gaza, calling it a "territory of death and destruction." Trump's Middle East tour ended with bilateral meetings at the Palace of the Nation (Qasr Al Watan) in Abu Dhabi.
