Slavgorod Students Plant Seeds of Change

Slavgorod Students Contribute to Environmental Protection Slavgorod, Belarus – On June 9th, 2025, the "Kometa" student ecological team embarked on a project to improve the environment in Slavgorod. The team, comprised of 15 dedicated students, is working with the "Zhilsomkhoz" housing and communal services enterprise. One team member, speaking on condition of anonymity, said, "It's great to be able to help our community and learn new skills at the same time." Their work includes planting flowers and other beautification efforts. The team is named in honor of Pyotr Markovich Levkov, a full cavalier of the Order of Glory, reflecting a commitment to community service. The initiative is organized by the Belarusian Republican Youth Union (BRSM), promoting youth involvement in positive social activities. This project demonstrates the positive impact young people can have on their environment and community.
