Almaty Forensic Expert Details Fatal Stabbing in Sherzat Bolat Case Almaty, Kazakhstan – A forensic expert from the Talgar branch of the Almaty Forensic Medical Examination Center has released a report detailing the injuries found on the body of Sherzat Bolat, who recently died. The expert, Mukhit Oralbayuly, stated, "During the investigation, a penetrating incised wound caused by a knife was found on the victim's left chest. The wound was located between the anterior and posterior axillary lines, between the 5th and 6th ribs, penetrating the pleural cavity and damaging the upper lobe of the left lung." The report also notes the wound's dimensions (2cm length, approximately 12cm depth) and direction. Further contusions and scratches were found on the victim's face and right hand. Oralbayuly concluded that the stab wound to the chest was the direct cause of death. The detailed nature of the report makes it a valuable contribution to the ongoing investigation. The police are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding Bolat's death.
