Newborn Baby Found Abandoned in Stroller in Parking Lot, Police Investigate
On March 24, 2025, police responded to a distressing call after a newborn baby was discovered abandoned in a stroller in a parking lot. A concerned citizen, who wished to remain anonymous, alerted authorities after observing a couple leave the week-old infant unattended. According to the witness, she was initially parked nearby and saw a young man and woman place the baby in the stroller. She then drove away and returned, only to find the baby still in the stroller and crying, with no adults in sight. She immediately contacted emergency services. Upon arrival, officers located the infant, who appeared to be approximately two to three weeks old. The baby was crying but otherwise seemed to be in good condition. Police then questioned a young woman who was identified as the suspected mother. When asked if she was the baby's mother, she confirmed she was, but claimed the baby's father had left the child at the hospital. This statement was contradicted by another individual present, who stated, "No, she's lying." The incident is currently under investigation, with authorities working to determine the full circumstances surrounding the baby's abandonment. The infant has been secured and is receiving appropriate care.
