An 82-Year-Old Grandmother Arrested for Drug Trafficking in Romania In a surprising turn of events, an 82-year-old woman from Harghita County, Romania, has been arrested on charges of trafficking high-risk drugs. Police raided her home following a tip and discovered dozens of grams of cocaine, packaged and ready for distribution. "The police arrived at the grandmother's house after apprehending a 50-year-old woman who was caught in the act of purchasing drugs," stated Ana Turda, a Kanal D correspondent.
