An 82-Year-Old Grandmother Arrested for Drug Trafficking in Romania In a surprising turn of events, an 82-year-old woman from Harghita County, Romania, has been arrested on charges of trafficking high-risk drugs. Police raided her home following a tip and discovered dozens of grams of cocaine, packaged and ready for distribution. "The police arrived at the grandmother's house after apprehending a 50-year-old woman who was caught in the act of purchasing drugs," stated Ana Turda, a Kanal D correspondent. The investigation expanded to Cluj, where two men, aged 49 and 52, were also detained and are suspected of being involved in the drug ring, facing charges of possessing and distributing significant quantities of psychoactive substances and crystal meth.
