
Romanian Village Devastated by Flash Flood; Hundreds Evacuated
Borosneu Mare, a village in Covasna County, Romania, experienced devastating flooding on May 30, 2025, after heavy rainfall caused the dam of the Zagoni stream to fail. Approximately 200 residents were evacuated as floodwaters surged into homes and businesses. "It all happened so fast," said one resident, interviewed amidst the chaos.
