"This brings with it maximum temperatures of 36 to 37 degrees Celsius in the southwest of Oltenia, particularly in Calafat." The heat is not limited to the south. Temperatures are expected to reach 35 degrees in Timișoara and Satu Mare. In Bucharest, the temperature is expected to reach 33 degrees, with high humidity levels. In addition to the heat, a yellow code for atmospheric instability has been issued for parts of the country, bringing with it the potential for heavy rain and strong winds. The instability alert is valid until 11 PM. Despite the warnings, many Romanians are making the most of the summer weather. Images from Bucharest show people relaxing by the pools, enjoying the warm temperatures. However, authorities urge citizens to take precautions against the heat, such as staying hydrated and avoiding prolonged sun exposure during peak hours.
