A woman, identified as Krystal Maeyke, has shared a poignant video reflecting on her life just months before she was diagnosed with Stage 4 Terminal Metastatic Bowel Cancer. The video, uploaded on March 14, 2025, shows Krystal dancing outdoors, seemingly carefree, with an overlay caption stating, "She doesn't know it yet, but in a few months time she will be diagnosed with Stage 4 Terminal Bowel CANCER." Krystal, 37, revealed in her video description that her life was "turned upside down" on May 30, 2023, with the diagnosis. She recounted experiencing symptoms like constant tiredness, irregular bowel movements, and night sweats in the three months prior, which she initially dismissed as normal for a busy mum or IBS. The onset of sharp, stabbing pains ultimately led to her airlift by jet plane to a hospital, where she received the devastating news. "Never in a million years would I ever think I would have this disease in my body at such a young age. I was healthy and fit and it wasn’t hereditary," Krystal wrote. Her story serves as a stark reminder of the importance of listening to one's body and seeking medical advice for persistent symptoms.
